Collaboration brings two parts of the same cancer care story together in a new sponsorship of Bath Rugby
We’re proud to share that we have joined sister organisation Pharmaxo in a new partnership with Bath Rugby, marking the start of the club’s 2026/27 season last week.
The partnership will see the Pharmaxo and Icon Cancer Centre brand appear across the club’s digital spaces and pitch-side signage and includes shirt sponsorship of Bath Rugby's Sevens women's team.
Supporting Bath Rugby brings together two closely linked parts of the same cancer care story: Icon Cancer Centre’s network of consultant-led centres, offering outpatient treatments including radiotherapy, chemotherapy and a range of other cancer therapies, and Pharmaxo’s specialist aseptic compounding, out-of-hospital nursing and medication delivery services, based at Corsham Science Park in Wiltshire.
Working together, the two organisations support patients at different stages of their cancer care, from treatment in centre to support closer to home. Beyond healthcare, Icon Cancer Centre and Pharmaxo are committed to supporting healthier communities and recognising the positive role sport can play in wellbeing and active lifestyles.
We're proud to partner with Pharmaxo in supporting Bath Rugby. As organisations committed to caring for people and strengthening communities, this partnership reflects the values we share both on and off the field.
A shared commitment to community
Bath Rugby has a deep connection to the region, and this partnership gives Icon Cancer Centre and Pharmaxo a way to support that community directly. Promoting healthier, more active communities aligns closely with our broader commitment to wellbeing, making Bath Rugby a natural partner. The partnership also includes backing the growth of women's rugby through sponsorship of the Sevens team’s shirts in 2027.
Working together for patients
For Icon Cancer Centre, the partnership is also a chance to highlight what working closely with Pharmaxo means in practice: two organisations supporting different stages of a patient’s cancer journey, from specialist compounding and homecare nursing through to outpatient consultant-led treatment.
The partnership began with Bath Rugby’s home fixture on 2 October 2026.
