Icon Cancer Centre UK exists to deliver the best cancer care possible, to as many people as possible, as close to home as possible. This page sets out our scope of service, philosophy of care, and the values and commitments that guide how we operate across our expanding UK network.

Our scope of service

Icon Cancer Centre UK provides outpatient oncology services to adult cancer patients, including Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT), Radiotherapy, PET CT imaging, Theranostics and related treatments. Every service we offer, wherever it's delivered, is designed around one aim: getting people the right cancer treatment, close to home, without compromising on quality or safety.

Our philosophy of care

We believe cancer care should be built around the person, not the disease. That means treatment plans shaped by each patient's circumstances, clear and honest communication at every stage, and clinical teams that treat every patient with the same respect, dignity and compassion we'd want for our own families. This philosophy holds true at every Icon Cancer Centre, regardless of location. Care doesn't stop at the treatment room door, it extends to how we support patients and their families through one of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Our commitment to our patients and each other

We hold ourselves to clear standards of conduct across every centre we operate. Every member of our team is expected to act with honesty, integrity, fairness and respect in all interactions with patients, colleagues and the wider organisation. We foster an inclusive culture where people feel safe and supported to raise concerns, where mistakes are used as opportunities to learn and improve, and where quality improvement is a continuous responsibility shared by everyone. Staff are introduced to these standards at induction, and they are reinforced throughout their time with us.

We are committed to reducing inequalities in cancer care and creating a culture for patients and colleagues alike where everyone feels valued, respected and able to belong, regardless of background, identity or circumstance.

Keeping this current

This statement, including the list of our centres and their Registered Managers, is reviewed regularly by our leadership team to ensure it continues to reflect how we operate as our network expands, and is available to any patient, visitor or stakeholder who would like to understand more about who we are and how we work.
