Biography
Dr Suwaidan is a UK trained Consultant Medical Oncologist with extensive experience in both medical oncology and cancer research. He completed his specialist training through the NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Leicester, followed by a doctoral research fellowship in London, where he combined clinical practice with translational research in cancer biology and therapeutics.
He specialises in the management of a broad range of cancers, with particular interests in thoracic and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr Suwaidan is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care, working closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Suwaidan has a strong research background, with interests in immunotherapy, biomarker development, and novel cancer treatments. He has contributed to a number of clinical trials and peer-reviewed publications.
Dr Suwaidan is also actively involved in medical education, supporting the training and development of medical students and resident doctors.
He is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and the European Society for Medical Oncology, and is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the UK Association of Cancer Physicians (ACP).
