Close to home
Throughout his treatment, one constant source of strength was the unwavering support of Jenny and their family. Their presence, combined with the professionalism of the HOSP team, helped sustain him through every stage of care.
“Throughout all this, the support of my wife and family and the medical staff from CCL were consistently present.
They just got on with what had to be done in a professional manner as if it was all normal, and I found that reassuring,” Chris reflects.
Looking ahead with hope
Today, Chris remains philosophical about his prognosis, focusing on his quality of life rather than illness and aging.
And he shares his immense gratitude towards his family and the medical professionals who have managed his condition effectively, ensuring that he lives life fully and pain-free.
“I cannot overstate the importance of family support, nor the importance of the professionalism of all the staff from the time of entering CCL onwards. They are all a great help,” says Chris.
