Biography
Dr Christos Mikropoulos is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist with extensive experience in the treatment of a wide range of solid tumours, including colorectal cancers.
He completed his medical degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School and subsequently undertook postgraduate training in the UK.
He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).
He holds a Master’s degree in Oncology from Newcastle University and completed an MD (Research) at the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London.
Dr Mikropoulos is actively engaged in advancing the field of prostate cancer through academic research alongside his clinical practice. He is a Principal Investigator to several important studies, including SABRE (Spacing Gel with Prostate SABR), ARASTEP (Addition of Darolutamide to ADT for high risk biochemical relapsed prostate cancer), WAYFIND-R (NGS for solid tumours and correlation with outcomes) at the Royal Surrey Hospital Cancer Centre.
